Geraldine Ferraro has Jumped the Shark

What's worse, some feminists (you know who you are) are excusing Ferraro's blatantly racist statements (a repeat of statements she made over a decade ago about other black political candidates, and expanded upon and defended as she is questioned) as "only what Obama deserves" for "allowing" sexist media coverage. Cluebat: If Obama controlled the media, wouldn't bullshit stories pretending he is Muslim be verboten?

You know what? This is the kind of bullshit I was afraid of from the Clinton campaign. Obama's staffer, Powers, calls Clinton a "monster" after specifically asking that it be off the record, and was (rightly) forced to resign as soon as it became public. Ferraro continues to sit on Clinton's campaign finance committee.

It's becoming harder and harder to say that if she wins the nomination I'll vote for her. I may be simply reduced to voting against McCain. A lot of people don't bother to vote when they only have to vote against. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. If this is how she goes about winning the nomination, the Presidency will probably go to Senator McMiniBush. And that would be a damned shame.
